General Guidelines
The following policies apply to events held at the Hampton Coliseum.

Alcohol is served at selected events. Only those persons 21 years of age and older, with proper ID will be served. Please drink responsibly.

Laser pointers are prohibited.

Selfie sticks are prohibited.

Smoking is prohibited at Hampton Coliseum. “Smoking” means (1) lighting or burning any type of tobacco, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, and pipes (2) lighting or burning of non-tobacco plants, incense, spice (or spice like product), or marijuana; and (3) using electronic cigarettes.

No illegal drugs or illicit materials.

Children 2 years of age and up must have a ticket for most events. Children under 2 without a ticket must sit on a parent’s lap (subject to change). Please refer to event page for event-specific policy.

Diaper bags are allowed but will be subject to search upon entry. We recommend only bringing the items necessary for the duration of the event.

All patrons are subject to search prior to entry.

No illegal weapons allowed.

No re-entry for ticketed events once guests have entered the building (subject to change per event).

No outside food, beverages, coolers, or bottles allowed.
- Gifts will not be accepted on an artist's behallf.

No crowdsurfing.

- Non-professional cameras are permitted for most performances (palm-size or smaller, no detachable lenses). No audio or video recording is permitted for any event unless otherwise specified. Please refer to event page for event-specific camera policy.
- COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines: For the safety and well-being of our guests and staff, additional guidelines may be in effect based upon requirements established by the Centers for Disease Control, Virginia Department of Health, State of Virginia, City of Hampton, and event organizers. Please see the event show page for any additional entry guidelines required for a specific event.
